The relay chatters when I trigger the door strike

It is not a good idea to use a switching - type power supply to power a door strike or maglock.

Switch mode power supplies like to run on continuous steady drain non-inductive loads. If they go from very low or zero load to a heavy inductive load they sense this as an over current (short circuit) condition and shut down. This may cause the relay to "chatter.”

If you must run a switching power supply with a door-strike or maglock, you will need to install an anti-kickback diode (1N4007) across the DC door strike solenoid, or across the maglock terminals, with the cathode (banded end) connected to the +12 volt side of the supply.
