How is the audio mode selected?

The PERS provider sets the initial audio communication mode through the RA-2400 programming software.

This is not fixed, and at any time during a two-way audio session, the central station operator has the option to switch to "Manual" mode by pressing 1 to talk, or 3 to listen.

The PERS will return to the original two-way voice setting after the present call is finished.
