How do I program my car’s Lear system to operate my Linear garage door operator?

In 2007, General Motors went to a system manufactured by the Lear Corporation for their "universal" on-board remote. Ford has gone to this system starting with the 2010 model year. Unfortunately, this "universal" system is apparently not compatible with the 318 MHz frequency transmitters such as those used with the LDO/LSO/LCO series Linear operators. It is our understanding that you can get an add-on module from Lear to make your operator(s) compatible with the Lear system. You can contact Lear at 866-572-2728 or at www.learcar2U.com.
