What is the procedure for returning a device under warranty?
IEI products have a two year warranty with the exception of eMerge which have a one year warranty and 2000E and 2000EM which has a five year warranty. Defective products are replaced with the exception of locksets and eMerge products which are repaired by our MI facility.
An rpa or rma can not be issued for products unless trouble shot by an application engineer. Please contact our Technical Support group at 1-800-421-1587 and ask to speak to an IEI Technician.
If the datecode is out of date and you have an invoice reflecting the device has been purchased within a 2 year timeframe please fax a copy of the invoice to 1-760-438-7199.
